About Resident Insider

Resident Insider was built by two practicing US attendings. We’ve each been on every side of the match: student, applicant, resident, now attending.

We built this because we wished it existed when we were applying. The honest take on programs only happens behind closed doors, and that information shouldn’t be reserved for whoever happens to know the right person.

So we did. Medical students can anonymously message verified residents at any US program — $50 Standard or $75 Priority, with a full refund if no answer arrives. Residents earn $25 Standard or $38 Priority per answer.
